wow! now this is an interesting peice. I never thought of how we “brand” ourselves. He is right though… take tomorrow night for instance… Im thinking, how do I dress? what should I look like, I mean, do people expect me to turn up with my crystal ball in hand?? Yes I do own one, and Yes I do use it, but its not ME. “ME” is Cheryl, the girl who cant wear high shoes, posh frocks (lets SOOO not go there!) etc. I am as I am, and I am glad of it, and even gladder that this peice has shown us that we are choosing how we look or appear to please another’s expectation.

Hi Bernard, I remember you from McGill because we had a class together in the PR program. You’re one of the most ambitious and confident person that I have met so I’m not surprised that you are thrilled to flirt with a “brandind suicide”.

J’ai rencontré le même défi en ouvrant mon blog et j’ai fini par opter pour un bilinguisme à 100%. Rien d’extraordinaire pour une montréalaise quand on y pense bien. Avant je travaillais dans un centre d’appel. Il suffisait que le client sélectionne l’option 1 pour français FR pour que je passe de Shakespeare à Molière. Je me sens robotisée rien que d’y penser!
